Well, you did search for it, and now you are here. So welcome to the fun ride that is Space Movie 1992 or “Gayniggers From Outer Space”. Yes, it has the “N-word” in the title but it’s a parody and not a social commentary so you need to take it with a bucket of salt. Gayniggers From Outer Space is a satire that mocks sci-fi and blaxploitation films. Let’s find out more about it.
The name Gayniggers From Outer Space is a parody of the legendary 1957 sci-fi horror film “Plan 9 From Outer Space”. The movie’s original title was intended to be “Grave Diggers From Outer Space” but it was changed later. The Danish director Morten Lindberg, also known as Master Fatman used that classic sci fi horror movie as his inspiration and used elements from 70s porn flicks (the “Golden Age of Porn”) and blaxploitation movies to power his satirical plot.
Gayniggers from Outer Space is a blax-exploited sci-fi short comedy by Danish Morten Lindberg (also known as Master Fatman) about homosexual black men ( gay “niggers”) Gayniggers traveling through space.
A group of homosexual black aliens (Gay “niggers”) arrive on earth and find that it is filled with women as well as men. The women in this world are essentially dictators who keep exploiting the men of the planet. These gay niggers decide to save the male population of earth and eliminate all women. As you would imagine, hilarity ensues, punctuated by lots of sexual and racial humour. This is a kind of movie that will make the cancel-culture-Twitter-mob commit suicide by the hundreds. If you are one of those people whose hobby is “taking offence”, this movie has a lot of material for you.
At the beginning of the film, the Gay niggers arrive near the Earth and are pale in horror when they discover that the Earth is populated by horrible creatures called “women.” The rest of the film is used to describe how Gayniggers are irradiated in Star Trek style from one corner of the earth to another to clear places of this female scourge.
The film is about the Ringmusculaturus II spacecraft and its crew, composed exclusively of black homosexuals, who, from the planet Anus, arrive on Earth, where, to their horror, they meet women for the first time. Consequently, they are commissioned by the president of the Intergalactic Federation of Gay Planets to teleport to Earth to collect more information about women.
- ArmInAss, is a graduate of the Gay Agent school; played by Coco P. Dalbert.
- Captain B. Dick, is a wise and experienced leader; portrayed by Sammy Saloman.
- D. Ildo, is an expert in genetic manipulation; played by Gerald F. Hail. Ildo later becomes an ambassador to Earth, after his body has been transformed. The ambassador is played by Johnny Conny Tony Thomas.
- Sergeant Shaved Balls, technician and collaborator of Captain B. Dick; played by Gbartokai Dakinah.
- Mr. Schwul is the German speaking chief engineer; played by Konrad Fields.
Women appear as annoying, capricious and loud creatures, creating a bad atmosphere and even making men cry, so that the “Anusians” have no choice but to eliminate them with their beam weapons. Earthlings are infinitely grateful to them. The film, which begins in black and white, like The Wizard of Oz in 1939, ends in color. According to director Morten Lindberg this is a “dramatic special effect” that serves to illustrate the “liberation of the world from evil women.” The “Anusians” leave an ambassador on Earth, who must teach Earthlings the true homosexual life.
Objectively speaking, no. It might fall in the “so bad, it’s good” category” but even that is a bit of a stretch considering how small the runtime is. Let’s face it, this movie is far more renowned for its name rather than the “story”. A lot of people might call it racist and homophobic but it’s a story about gay black men who save men from women. If anything, this movie is “heterophobic” but that isn’t supposed to be a thing.
The movie has its own flavour of European humour which might not come out as well through the medium of the English language. However, the movie is indeed funny in its own way. If nothing else, it’s quite unique. Yes, the acting is dreadful and the sets make a college project look like a blockbuster. The special effects are jaw-droppingly bad but in the end, Gayniggers From Outer Space does make you smile. Is it strongly recommended for you to watch, probably not, but it’s definitely not a waste of your time.
The level of the film is in the traditional amateur video class, but still clearly from the better end of the class. The multicultural cast consists of Lindberg’s circle of friends and acquaintances. Nothing of immense fun has been invented by the authors, according to their film, but the passing black groove playing in the background and the constantly prevailing relaxed mood make up for this shortcoming. Gayniggers from Outer Space is so short (28 mins) that it looks easy through the wonders without grimacing.
If you are disturbed by male nudity or gay sex scenes, then you will be pleased to know that this movie has no such scenes and you can watch it without worrying about anything. This is a comedy movie which only has one purpose, to make the viewers laugh.
