5 Predictions Revealed for 2023 ROYAL RUMBLE

The 2023 Royal Rumble will be WWE’s 36th annual Royal Rumble professional wrestling pay-per-view and livestreaming event. It will be open to wrestlers from the Raw and SmackDown brand divisions of the WWE. The event will take place on Saturday, January 28, 2023, as part of the Alamo dome’s 30th anniversary celebrations in San Antonio, Texas. It will be the fourth Royal Rumble event in San Antonio, following 1997, 2007, and 2017, and the third at the Alamo Dome, following 1997 and 2017.

Traditionally, the winner of the Royal Rumble match receives a world championship match at the following year’s WrestleMania. For the 2023 event, the winners of both the men’s and women’s matches will be given the option of challenging for a world championship at WrestleMania 39. The men can compete for either the Raw WWE Championship or the SmackDown Universal Championship, which are currently held and defended as the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, while the women can compete for either the Raw Women’s Championship or the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

The following are five predictions for the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble match that are unlikely to occur but would be incredible if they did.

1. Shane McMahon creates the fastest elimination record

Shane McMahon was essentially asked to leave the 2022 Royal Rumble because of his antics. Shane will almost certainly have to handle things well backstage and set a record for the fastest elimination. Dave Meltzer, Wrestling Observer, mentioned Shane, “Shane was one of the producers and there was a lot of heat on Shane in fact, he rewarded as the head producer of the Rumble. And then he knows of what the Rumble was gonna be and then a lot of that ended up being changed. I don’t know all of everything but I do know there were several people who kinda made off-handed remarks to me about Shane.”

However, the regime has shifted, and perhaps his sister and brother-in-law will reconsider. Shane will almost certainly have to make things right backstage and set the record for the quickest elimination. Santino Marella currently holds the record with 1.9 seconds left in the Royal Rumble match in 2009.

2. Kofi Kingston is simply tossed over the top rope

In recent years, Kofi Kingston has consistently been one of the more entertaining Royal Rumble stars. However, earlier this year, things went wrong, and the former WWE Champion was humiliatingly eliminated.

The 41-year-old attempted to create a spectacle for fans by leaping to the barricade. Unfortunately, his leap to the barricade was cut short, and both of his feet landed on the ground.

Because the camera caught it, they had to announce Kofi’s elimination, and perhaps the walk of shame backstage convinced him not to go for the match’s viral spot this time.

3. Logan Paul is eliminated by Bad Bunny to win the Royal Rumble

Logan Paul had already faced Roman Reigns and came up short at Crown Jewel. The 27-year-old was impressive in his third match of his career, but he was injured and had to leave the premium live event.

Bad Bunny had an explosive run as a WWE Superstar, but he has been overshadowed by Logan as the company’s best celebrity turned wrestler. To the chagrin of wrestling fans around the world, he and Logan Paul may be the only two stars left in the match.

The rapper could then defeat the YouTuber to earn a title shot at WWE’s most important event of the year.

4. Roman Reigns wins the Royal Rumble as champion

Roman Reigns may decide to demonstrate his dominance over the entire roster in order to enter the Royal Rumble match. If he entered the battle royal, he would be the favourite to win, and the Tribal Chief would rely on his Bloodline members as allies. He could then claim that no one, including Roman Reigns, can reach this level, which would be true. However, he mentioned that it could lead to a legend like The Rock or John Cena attempting to end his vigilance reign at WrestleMania 39.

5. Cody Rhodes is the first WWE superstar to be eliminated

The WWE Universe has been waiting for the return of the American Nightmare with bated breath. Cody Rhodes tore his pectoral muscle earlier this year while training for his Hell in a Cell match against Seth Rollins. He demonstrated to the fans that he was a warrior by continuing to compete in the match.

Rhodes defeated Seth at WWE Hell in a Cell 2022, but was unable to appear on the following RAW due to an injury. Many fans not only expect Cody to return to the Royal Rumble, but also for him to win the match.

It would be shocking to see the American Nightmare return with a whimper this January.
