Josh Allen’s Girlfriend

Josh Allen is thriving as a quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, but the road to success hasn’t always been easy. After inconsistent play during his first two seasons, QB Allen had a breakout season in 2020 but back in 2017, the then-college player told the Denver Post: “If you didn’t want to believe in me, that’s fine, because I’ll make a believer out of you.” He acknowledged, “Obviously, I wasn’t looked at or recruited at Fresno State or any other school in the country, to be honest. It’s always been my goal to go to every game and show you why I should have been drafted, why I should have offered myself.” But many don’t know that fate would link him with a beautiful girl: Brittany Williams. The story goes that Allen did not get into California State University, Fresno, but Josh Allen’s girlfriend Brittany Williams did, and the fun part: they knew each other since they were in middle school! Let’s dig into their romantic relationship and see how they have held onto each other for so long.

Josh Allen’s Girlfriend Brittany Williams Has Known Him Since Age 8!

Who is Josh Allen?

Josh Allen is a Firebaugh, California native who went on to become an American quarterback who plays for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Wyoming and was selected seventh overall by the Bills in the 2018 NFL Draft.

ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. who rightly predicted that he will be selected by the Cleveland Browns in his first mock draft, helped fans visualize Josh Allen’s success as he clinched the top overall position in competition with Josh Rosen, Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfield, and Lamar Jackson in 2018.

Josh Allen and Brittany Williams were high school crushes:

Although Allen did not get into California State University, Fresno, despite his father deeply wanting him to, an offer never came. One person who did get it was Josh Allen’s Girlfriend Brittany Williams who grew up near each other. Josh Allen and his girlfriend Brittany Williams were both born in California and attended Firebaugh Public High School According to Essentially Sports. However, they have known each other long before high school.

At uni, she went on to become a cheerleader and a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority until she graduated in 2018.  Josh Allen’s girlfriend was his biggest supporter and was by his side when Buffalo drafted him in 2018. She’s also a regular presence at Bills games — when there’s no pandemic, of course. This isn’t surprising though, as these two have been a part of each other’s lives for, well, almost forever.

As we said before, the couple have known each other since before high school which was confirmed in a March 2018 post on Instagram when the couple celebrated their one-year anniversary, prompting Williams to share on Instagram:

“My crush of 8 years became my boyfriend a few years later.”

In another Instagram post, she joked, “Thanks for flirting with me when we were 8, we’ve come a long way. I’m glad you don’t have lice anymore.”

The couple went through some negativity:

In addition to going to two different schools and doing long-distance dating, Josh and Brittany have also endured some shadiness on social media. In 2019, Sports Stool founder Dave Portnoy tweeted a throwback photo of Williams hugging Allen, who was sporting a Tom Brady jersey from his time on the Patriots.

Along with the photo, he joked, “Can’t wait to see all the @Patriots fans in Buffalo tomorrow! @JoshAllenQB.” Unfortunately for Allen, the Bills lost that game to the Patriots, according to ESPN, but in the grand scheme of things, Allen is doing just fine, especially with Williams next to him in support (not to mention all the Buffalo Bills fans as well)!

On the other hand, his girlfriend, Brittany, was a cheerleader for the state of Fresno (his rival as they didn’t offer him a contract). Similarly, she supported Josh at Fresno State and Wyoming Mountain West schools when he was playing college football. A mature Josh said: ‘My girlfriend went to a different school, and I bet I rooted against her too.’

The couple have now been together for more than 5 years and clearly figured out how to handle a bad situation.

Josh Allen’s girlfriend is a former cheerleader:

Williams, a student, and cheerleader at California State University, regularly shared photos of her game day outfit in 2017, when she sported red, white, and blue, also the color scheme of Allen’s current team.

“I ❤️ game day #BeatUNLV #bulldogpix,” Williams wrote in an Instagram post in October 2017. Williams graduated in the spring of 2018.

According to Wiki and Page Six, Williams is currently a Pilates instructor:

Along with her boyfriend Josh Allen, Pilates instructor Williams continues to show her “Bills Mafia” pride on social media.

Is Brittany Williams Josh Allen’s wife?

Nope! Although Josh Allen is not married to his girlfriend, they have been in a super long romantic relationship.

Brittany Williams knew Josh since the age of 8 and romantically linked together since March 14, 2017 and is strengthening their bond. The duo have been together for more than 5 and a half years.

Likewise, Josh Allen’s girlfriend and himself are enjoying their personal lives as much as their respective professional lives. The quarterback keeps posting photos of him with his girlfriend on his official Instagram page where most of the Instagram photos of him are the two of them taking various events and venues.

Brittany Williams is confused for another Brittany Williams (Beyonce’s double):

Brittany Williams says that she has to insist to the singer’s fans who stop her in the street to make them understand that she is not who they think she is. But this isn’t Josh Allen’s girlfriend. Despite the two of them sharing the same name, Josh’s girl is white and the Beyonce doppelganger is African-American.

The secret to Josh Allen’s girlfriend Brittany Williams remaining in love:

One of the key reasons why this couple has been together from 2017 onwards could point to their history. As the two of them were born and raised in their hometown of Firebaugh, California, they seem to be deeply rooted in their background. And even though many people change through their school and college years, it’s sustainable to be rooted in the same background or same roots so that one can appreciate the same support system.

Career Facts about Josh Allen:

Style:

Josh Allen is a versatile player who has a strong arm but is also very strong in the running game. Reviewing his profile, he has received praise for his arm strength, mobility, mental toughness, and leadership skills compared to other players.

Allen has surprised many sports analysts with his ability to stir. He gets huge amounts of yards on the ground, despite being a poor rookie on the offensive line. He was also taking difficult passes but taking unnecessary risks.

Coveted NFL draft star:

In the NFL draft, Allen was highly sought after as a ‘raw potential’ and had criticism for his consistency and accuracy coming out of college. For example, shortly after the conclusion of the 2017 draft, ESPN reporter Adam Schefter said of Allen’s prospects, “There was a director who told me that you can put it on the books, Josh Allen will be number 1 in the draft next year.” Also, during his first outlook in January 2018, ESPN analyst Melkiper Jr. predicted that the Cleveland Browns would select Allen ahead of other quarterbacks such as: Josh Rosen, Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfield and Lamar Jackson.

He has kept his early college career going with a gunslinger attitude as witnessed in December 2017, after leading his team to a 37–14 victory over Central Michigan in the 2017 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, Allen announced that he would enter the 2018 NFL Draft.

In the 2017 NFL Draft year, he told ESPN reporter Adam Schefter: “There was a personnel director who told me this week that you can put him on the books, Josh Allen is going to be the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft next year.”

Controversy:

In the 2018 NFL Draft, he decided to enter his professional career after Josh Allen was drafted 7th overall by the Buffalo Bills in the 2018 NFL Draft. He was the third quarterback picked in 2018, after Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold. The Bills engineered a trade for Allen with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to move up from 12th pick to seventh pick in the draft.

During the draft, his various racial slurs were highlighted through his old Twitter posts when he was in high school. After that, Allen apologized, stating that he was ‘young and foolish’ for making them.

Are Josh Allen and Kyle Allen related?

No, Kyle Allen and Josh Allen are not related to each other. However, they are related to his profession. By occupation, Josh and Kyle are football quarterbacks. Josh plays quarterback for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League.

As a fellow quarterback, Josh plays for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League. The 26-year-old quarterback for the Buffalo Bills (Josh) has three brothers, two sisters, Nicola Allen and Makenna Allen, and a brother Jason Allen

On the other hand, Kyle was born to his parents, Jonna Allen and Mike Allen on March 8, 1996, in Scottsdale, Arizona, and doesn’t have any brothers.

Are Josh Allen and Josh Allen related?

Josh Allen is often confused with the defensive end of the same name, who has played for the Jacksonville Jaguars since 2019.

College:

After high school in his hometown, Josh Allen struggled to find a college to get into. Not a single one had offered him a scholarship. Allen had not appeared on the recruiters’ radar because his hometown is remote, Allen played regularly in other sports as well, which is why he rarely attended camps for young players and also helped out with his parents on the farm and in the restaurant. At Reedley Junior College he found a coach who recognized his qualities. There was no offer – especially from the neighboring Fresno State Bulldogs. Only one Wyoming Cowboys coach who used to work in Fresno saw Allen’s potential and convinced his head coach to look at the young player.

Josh Allen played for the Wyoming Cowboys at the University of Wyoming for three years. He made an early start in his first season but broke his collarbone shortly thereafter, leaving him with just four completed passes in two games. Allen was a starter for the Cowboys beginning his sophomore year in the 2016 season and was able to impress with his individual performances. He threw for 3,203 yards and 28 touchdowns with 15 interceptions. In addition, his team performed significantly better than in the previous year. After four unsuccessful years, the Cowboys were able to win more than they lost again for the first time. In 2017, Allen played his third and final year of college. He played a solid last season, scoring 16 touchdowns with 6 interceptions. After a good 7-3 start, Allen was injured and missed two games with a shoulder injury.

NFL career with the Buffalo Bills began in 2018:

Allen signed a four-year, $21.183 million contract with the Bills.

Allen started the 2018 season as a backup behind Nathan Peterman. Nonetheless, Allen made his NFL debut in the first week of the season when Peterman was substituted mid-game for poor performance. In the second week, Allen already had one assignment as a starter.

He threw his first touchdown in that game against the Los Angeles Chargers, and in the third week of the game against the Minnesota Vikings he led the Bills to victory for the first time, throwing two touchdowns himself. After another win against the Tennessee Titans in week five, he injured his elbow in the game against the Houston Texans.

Six weeks later, Allen reappeared in the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars and led his team to another win. He rushed for a touchdown and 99 yards in total, breaking the one-game record for any Bills quarterback.  In the next two games, he rushed even further: with 335 total yards, he broke the NFL record for rushing yards by a quarterback in three consecutive games. In the final game of the season against the Miami Dolphins, he had three throwing touchdowns and two running touchdowns, earning the team a win and Allen’s AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors (the first Bills player in 17 years).

The Buffalo Bills ended the 2018 season with six wins and ten losses, far from qualifying for the playoffs. In the games that Allen played from the start, however, he had a much better record of five wins and only six losses.

In the 2020 season, Buffalo Bills won two wins against the Patriots:

This was because the Buffalo Bills didn’t have to play against Tom Brady, who had traded from the Patriots to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With quarterback Brady and head coach Bill Belichick, the Patriots had dominated the AFC East since 2003. This year, however, the Buffalo Bills were able to achieve two wins against the Patriots – the first home win since 2011 and the first away win since 1999. Allen was able to significantly improve his passing performance this season and again broke various team records. The Week 5 game against the Tennessee Titans, postponed to Tuesday due to a COVID-19 outbreak at the South team, saw their first loss. Another narrow loss was recorded against the Arizona Cardinals in week 10. In week 14, Josh Allen broke the team’s record for most touchdowns in a season after his tally hit 35. After Week 15, the AFC East Division’s first win since 1995, before Allen was even born, was secured. Allen was named AFC Offensive Player of the Month for his December games, after winning four AFC Offensive Player of the Week awards this season.

Together with four other players, he was elected to the Pro Bowl 2021, which had to be held virtually due to coronavirus.

In the wildcard round game against the Indianapolis Colts, Allen led the Buffalo Bills to their first playoff win (24-27) since 1995; he also ran for a touchdown in that game. The Bills also won the divisional playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens. However, the conference final against the Kansas City Chiefs was clearly lost – commentators rated it as “one of the weaker games of his outstanding season”. As the No. 5 in passing yards and touchdown passes, he established himself among the top quarterbacks in the NFL.

2021 contract extension:

Ahead of the 2021 season, Allen was ranked 10th on the NFL Top 100 by fellow players, up from 87th a year earlier. So it makes sense that on August 6, 2021 Allen and the Bills agreed to a six-year contract extension through 2028, valued at $258 million.
